This was the greatest sushi experience of my life. The staff helped me choose according to my tastes and I was not disappointed. The quality of the food is premium and the preparation is unbelievable. Me and my son truly enjoyed our experience. Would recommend to anyone.
I finally made it to Hidden Fish , and it exceeded every expectation I had! This restaurant has been on my list for years, and it was absolutely worth the wait. From the moment we walked in, the service was top-notch. We were lucky to have Matthew as our server, and he went above and beyond by curating a tasting menu for us. Every single dish he brought out was incredible—there wasn’t a single miss. The attention to detail, the flavors, and the presentation were all exceptional. You can tell the team truly cares about their craft. It’s rare to have a dining experience where everything is a hit, but this was exactly that—a perfect 5/5. I can’t wait to come back!
OK not a big sushi fan. But this was amazing. From the dimly lit place to the slick service. The food was exceptional and definitely a great date venue. Or great for women to catch up and moan about men.
Best sushi I have had. Whatever negative reviews there are, I would ignore them and try the restaurant anyways(as we did!). Service was impeccable, presentation was amazing, and the freshness of the fish was perfect. Will definitely return, and have already suggested to friends and family!
The best sashimi in Montreal. Went there three times and everything is always so fresh and tastes so good. They also have very nice drinks. It’s the place I always recommend to raw fish lovers. We really appreciate the nice and cozy atmosphere too.
Went here for my birthday and it was absolutely phenomenal. Very high end experience. Best sushi I’ve ever eaten (and my wife agrees with her roll, as well). Didn’t even reach for the soy sauce or wasabi. The flavor was perfect.
As someone who has worked as a sushi chef, I've had my fair share of incredible seafood. But this place completely blew me away. Every single bite had me saying, wow that's the best I've ever had. The salmon, the tuna, the uni, even the rice.. The quality, balance and attention to details were on another level.
I don’t think I need to say much about Hidden Fish... This is my favourite sushi place in Montreal. The quality here is amazing, it is pretty hard to find a raw-fish restaurant for this freshness in Canada with this price range. The dishes also have uniquely delicious flavours and uncommon but super tasty combinations. The chef just really knows how to surprises his guests. It is definitely a must-try experience if you are a foodie or just simply visiting Montreal.
